April 26, 2024 is the 24th World Intellectual Property Day, and the theme of this year's World Intellectual Property Day is "Intellectual Property Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals: Building on Innovation and Creativity to Build a Common Future." The theme of the activities of the National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA) is "Transformation and Utilization of Intellectual Property for High Quality Development".

The World Intellectual Property Day (The World Intellectual Property Day), established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on April 26, 2001, aims to raise people's awareness of intellectual property rights globally, to build up a sense of respect for knowledge, science and the protection of intellectual property rights, and to create a legal environment that encourages intellectual innovation.
As a semiconductor technology company, Mifei Technology held an IPR seminar in the afternoon of April 26th in order to better gather consensus on the value of IPR in the organization, inviting experts in the field of IPR to shape and strengthen the knowledge of IPR for the R&D team.

In the seminar, experts explained in depth the methods of patent search and analysis, elaborated the importance of intellectual property rights for enterprise innovation and future development, and also shared practical knowledge on patent application and protection.The seminar not only further strengthened the learning and use of intellectual property rights, but also further consolidated the organizational consensus that "intellectual property protection is the key to promoting enterprise innovation and development in the future".
After the IPR seminar, Meifei Technology organized a special "IPR Awarding Activity", in which the "Outstanding Contribution to Patent Award", "Best Patent Achievement Award" and "Best Patent Efficiency Award" were presented respectively, The "Patent Outstanding Contribution Award", "Patent Best Achievement Award" and "Patent Best Efficiency Award" were presented to recognize the R&D colleagues who have made outstanding contributions to the patent work of Mifei Technology. Dr. Hongwei Li, Chief Technology Officer of Mifei Technology, and Ms. Ying Ye, Chief Human Resources Officer of Mifei Technology, attended the event and presented the awards.
"Patent Outstanding Contribution Award" recognizes the employee with the highest number of patent applications by virtue of rich innovation practice and unremitting filing efforts. The "Patent Best Achievement Award" recognizes the employee with the highest patent grant rate by virtue of efficient patent conversion rate and accurate market positioning. "Patent Best Efficiency Award" Recognizes the employee who has the fastest patent granting rate and the highest innovation by virtue of his/her agile thinking and outstanding innovation ability.
